Formation of the Strengthening Phase during the High-Temperature Nitriding of Ni-Co-Cr Weldable Wrought Superalloy

The regularities of the strengthening phase formation were studied during the chemico-thermal treatment (high-temperature nitriding) in VG171 (Ni-Co-Cr) weldable wrought superalloy. The alloy microstructure description is presented. It was stated, that the nitride morphology and chemical composition were changed depending on the nitriding process duration and the distance from the specimen surface. The possible mechanisms of forming fragmentary nitride particles were also considered in the paper.

Study of the Technological and Mechanical Properties of Laminated Titano-Aluminium Composite Materials, Produced by Liquid-Phase Method

The novel liquid-phase method was proposed for forming the laminated Ti-Al composite materials. The effect of liquid-phase temperature conditions on the wetting intensity and rate of titanium packet by the aluminium melt was studied along with the chemical and phase composition of the composite layers. The relationship of the titanium and aluminium bonding strength from the temperature conditions and parameters of multilayer titanium packet assembling was established. The growth kinetics of Ti-Al transition intermetallic phases was also studied.

Production of GTE Superalloy Disks with the Use of Isothermal Presses

The principles, concerning the deformation treatment of the up-to-date superalloys by the hot isothermal forging in air are given in the paper. The advantages of the isothermal forging application were determined for the production of turbine disks of small-size GTE and units. Two production variants of disk die forgings made of pressed bars and high-gradient directionally-solidified ingots were considered.

High-Temperature Heat-Resistant Coatings and Heat-Resistant Layers for Thermoprotective Coatings

The high-temperature heat-resistant coatings were considered for the protection of carbon-free Ni-base superalloys, modified by rhenium and ruthenium, at the operating temperature to 1150 ° C along with the heat-resistant metallic layers of thermoprotective coating. The study results of the effect of complex heat-resistant coating with the metal-ceramic barrier layer upon the heat resistance, structural stability and stress rupture of carbon-free Ni-base superalloy, modified by rhenium and ruthenium (VGM1, VGM4) are given in the present paper. The selection of heat-resistant metallic layer of the thermoprotective coating, in particular, VGMS-2 (Ni-5Cr-12Al-1Hf)+Al was performed on the base of heat-resistance test (1100°C, 1000 h) results of GS 36 specimens.

Study of Alloying Effect on the Corrosion Resistance of Zn–7Al–3,7Cu Zinc Solder

The effect of small additions of alloying elements on the corrosion resistance of Zn‒7Al‒3,7Cu zinc solders was studied in the salt spray chamber and 3% NaCl solution. The most effect of the corrosion resistance increase is achieved during the multicomponent alloying by magnesium, cadmium, chromium and nickel.

Optical Constants of Thin Indium Oxide Films, Alloyed by Tin and Deposited onto Polyethylene Terephthalate Film by the Reactive Magnetron Sputtering Method (Spectrum Infrared Short-Range Region)

The optical properties of polyethylene terephthalate film with the coating of indium oxide, alloyed by tin (ITO) and deposited by the reactive magnetron sputtering method were investigated. The optical ITO coating constants were determined with the various electrical conductivity in the infrared spectrum region (λ=1,5-20 μm).

Use of Three-Dimensional Reinforcing Preforms during the Production of Polymer Composite Products

The PCM autoclave-free production technology with the use of three-dimensional reinforcing preforms has been recently mastered by a number of foreign companies and finds an application in the aircraft building. Such PCMs are characterized by the high exfoliation resistance and endurance values, including the high strength near the holes. The use of three-dimensional preforms allows to simplify the problem of joining in the built-up structures and to ensure the possibility of production automatization.

Nanomodified Epoxy Binder for the Construction Industry

The developed two-component binder consists of the mixture of low-viseous epoxy dianic resin, modified by nanodispersed alumina powder and liquid curing system of catalytic type, containing heterocyclic monomers with active hydroxyl and amine groups. The binder and polymer composite material on its base are characterized by the high strength characteristics and the necessary complex of service properties due to the high technological efficiency of the developed binder, the use of nanodispersed modificators, improved physico-mechanical properties of cured polymer matrix, as well as the applied present-day processing technology.

Study of the Curing Kinetics of Fluoropolyurethane Enamels by the Use of Aliphatic Polyisocyanates of Various Types

The effect of hydroxyl-containing copolymer, trifluorochlorethylene and polyisocyanates on the gel-fraction content and coating hardness was studied. The coating properties were determined depending on the polyisocyanate type.

Lubricating oils for aircraft turboshaft engines and helicopters gearboxs

The article describes the features of the oils for turboshaft engines. It was found the advantages and disadvantages of modern domestic brands of oils of this class. It was carried comparison of new and promising domestic oil for turboshaft engines, developed by leading companies in the sector, with the existing domestic and foreign counterparts.

Some Aspects of Military and Technical Cooperation with the Chinese People Republic

Actual features of military and technical cooperation with the People's Republic of China are given in article and the priority directions of its development are presented. As priorities there is a delivery of the aviation equipment, separate knots and accessories of planes, and also creation of the technical centers for their service.
