Synthesis of high- temperature glass-ceramic matrices of composite materials

The study includes the analysis of the possibility of production of high-temperature glass-ceramic materials using the sol-gel technique for their application as the matrices of the composite materials. Physical-chemical and phase transformations occurring in the material heating process were studied.

    The high-temperature ce- ramic material of the SiC-SiC type for the application in the heat- and load-bearing parts of the prospective engines

    Introduced here are the physical-mechanical characteristics of the developed high-temperature composite material with ceramic Si-based matrix intended for the production of the ceramic segments of the stoichiometric combustion chamber operating at the temperatures up to 1500°С.

      Protective technological coatings for the high-strength structural steels

      The particular protection of low alloyed high-strength steels of the high-strength structural type (VKS) is described. The basic composition of the ceramic protective coatings was developed. The oxidation kinetics of steels of the coated and uncoated VKS-180 type was researched.

        The particular technologies of production of the fiber-composite materials based on the ceramic and glass-ceramic matrices were described. The influence of the technological process of glass-ceramic and ceramic composites production on their heat- and physical properties was experimentally examined.

          High-temperature heat- resistant enamel coatings intended for the fuel-combustion corrosion protection for heat- and load-bearing parts of corrosion-resistant steels and heat-resistant alloys

          Presented here are the data on the influence of the fuel combustion products on the resistance of the corrosion-resistant steels and heat-resistant alloys and their operability. Heat-resistant gas-proof glass-enamel coatings are developed and applied for the fuel-combustion corrosion protection.

            One type of polymer composite materials called sphere plastics is used as the filler for the three-layered honeycomb structures that are widely applied in diverse fields of industry, particularly in aviation technologies.

              Analysis of technological and strength properties of interior organic plastics in the full-scale production conditions

              The research results for organic material prepregs applied onto FP-520 binder produced on different installations in the full-scale production conditions are listed. It is shown that constructive characteristics of impregnators affect the mode of prepreg production. The strength properties of organic plastics applied onto FP-520 binders including the three-layered panels on their basis are described. It is pointed out that these materials are consistent with the interior details requirements for the TU-204 airplane.
